Could anyone fill me in on the importance of diamond certification? Which labs are best?...?

Well, a certification is definitely important, especially if you’re going to spend good money on the diamond. You wouldn’t want to be fooled into buying a glass ring. Certs are useful for finding out the quality of diamonds or 4 Cs. GIA is pretty well known but other ones like AGS and EGL are trusted too.
