Using my virgin sim in a new phone?

Hi, i got a contract phone (Nokia E72) with virgin a while back, which ends next year, but i hate it. i cant swap it either, im wanting to use my sisters old phone or buy a new one off amazon, will i be able to se my E72 phone in a new phone? Thanks
