What does it mean if i had a dream about the future and its really happened? it freaked me out?

it was awhile back, like 8 years ago.. i had a dream i was playing baseball in my backyard and my neighbors dog Gia came outta no where and just sat at the top of my stairs looking at us(this dog is an insane hyper little dog so seeing her just sit never happens). then i woke up. so the day after my dream i was in my backyard playing baseball like i always did, and my neighbors dog appeared out of nowhere and sat at the top of my stairs, staring at us just like in my dream. i ran up and tried to grab her but she ran off back to my neighbors front door.( there dog never got out once before this so it really made me wonder) maybe it was a big coincidence or something.
